Ambedkar College of Arts and Science in Wandoor is situated on a serene hillock, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding rural landscape and the Western Ghats. Established by the Indhiraji Memorial Society in 2013, the college was created to uplift marginalized communities through education and social advancement. The society secured a 5-acre government land lease to support this initiative.
Starting its academic journey in the 2014-15 year, Ambedkar College holds a unique distinction as the first institution managed by a Scheduled Caste community in the region. Affiliated with the University of Calicut and recognized by the government, the college is committed to providing quality education that nurtures responsible citizens.
