Ambedkar College of Arts & Science (ACAS) in the Wandoor Constituency of Malappuram district plays a crucial role in providing higher education, especially for the Scheduled Caste (SC) community. As the only government-aided higher education institution in the area, ACAS is committed to social upliftment. Recognizing its social responsibility, the college governing body decided to extend its impact beyond the classroom to underserved tribal villages facing socio-economic challenges, such as limited access to education and inadequate infrastructure. By adopting Chinkakallu as part of its community outreach program, ACAS aims to bridge the gap between the college and the local community.
