Principal's Message

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warm greetings as the Principal of Ambedkar College of Arts and Science, Wandoor. I feel truly honoured and privileged to be a part of this esteemed institution—an institution that is not merely a centre of learning, but a vibrant space where education becomes a powerful tool for social transformation.

At Ambedkar College, we believe that education is not confined to the pages of textbooks or the boundaries of classrooms. It is a continuous process of exploration, growth, and enlightenment—for students, faculty, and every stakeholder alike. Each day on our campus presents an opportunity to learn, unlearn, and discover new dimensions of knowledge, values, and purpose. Here, every individual is both a learner and a contributor to a shared vision of inclusive excellence.

Established in 2014 and named in honour of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the college was founded with a clear mission: to uplift the socio-economically marginalized, especially the Scheduled Caste communities, through equitable access to quality higher education. This noble vision, nurtured by the Indiraji Memorial Society, continues to guide all our academic and developmental pursuits. We are proud to be the first institution of our kind in the region, serving as a beacon of hope and empowerment for the underserved.

In keeping with the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar, we strive to foster a culture of critical inquiry, equality, and dignity. We aim to produce not only graduates with academic credentials but also responsible citizens who are sensitive to societal needs and capable of contributing meaningfully to the world around them.

As we continue our journey of educational excellence and social commitment, I invite all stakeholders—students, parents, faculty, alumni, and community members—to join hands with us in building a more inclusive, enlightened, and empowered society.
