As the Principal of Ambedkar College of Arts and Science Wandoor, I feel honoured and privileged to becoming a part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and everyday is an opportunity to learn and discover. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skills needed for students' self development with highly resourceful faculty. Ambedkar wanted the people to cultivate the values of freedom and equality among themselves; it is possible only through education. He regarded education as a means to reach the doors of light and perception to remove the regions of darkness and ignorance. As Albert Einstein said “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think”.
