The Department of Economics at Ambedkar College of Arts & Science, Wandoor, organised an Organic Farm Visit for its third-year BA Economics students as part of their field study programme. The visit was held on 23 September 2026 at the Kannur District Agricultural Farm, Taliparamba, providing students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to organic farming and sustainable agricultural practices.

During the field visit, students interacted with farmers and observed various aspects of organic cultivation firsthand. The programme aimed to connect classroom learning with real-world agricultural practices while helping students understand the economic and environmental significance of sustainable farming. The visit also encouraged students to explore how organic agriculture can contribute to a more sustainable future.
