A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “SCOPUS Publishing: Strategies for Academic Publication” was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Ambedkar College of Arts & Science, Wandoor on September 5, 2026. The programme was held at the Board Room from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. The session was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Shamsudeen. E, Principal, ACAS, in the presence of P. Bhaskaran, Manager, ACAS, who attended as the Chief Guest.

The FDP featured Dr. Simi. K. Salim, PhD, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Founder, humAIIn – The Humanities Lab, and Hamda Hanan, PhD Research Scholar, Farook College (Autonomous), Founding Mentor, HumAIn – The Humanities Lab, as resource persons. The programme focused on developing faculty awareness and skills in academic publishing, particularly strategies for publishing research papers in SCOPUS-indexed journals. The programme provided an opportunity for faculty members to gain valuable insights into effective academic publication practices and strengthen their research and publication skills.
