A self-defense training programme “Be Prepared Not Scared “was conducted at college in association with the Women Development Cell and the NSS unit, organized by the District Police of Malappuram. The event aimed to empower women with essential self-defense skills, ensuring their safety and confidence in everyday life.

The program was officially inaugurated by A Deepakumar, Inspector of Police,Wandoor who emphasized the importance of safety and self-defense in today’s society. During the session, participants were trained by experienced officers, including V J Sonia Mable, Assistant Sub Inspector of Police; K Valsala, Assistant Sub Inspector of Police; and K C Sinimol, Senior Civil Police Officer.

These experts guided the participants through various defensive techniques and shared valuable tips on handling potential threats. The program was well-received by students, and it successfully created awareness about self-defense while providing practical knowledge to help individuals protect themselves in dangerous situations .
